Car subscription with this car
For a car by the month, the 1992 Lexus SC could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.
Engine and fuel
The 3.0L 6-cylinder, paired with a 4-speed automatic, drives it. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
The EPA rates it at 13.1 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 39 litres. For 1,000 km, budget about $229.30 at our price setting.
Space, size and seats
Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. The EPA lists 255 litres for luggage, roughly about a large suitcase and a couple of soft bags.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.
Can I rent it?
Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Getting the car booked
All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.
The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
Before you rent
Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.
You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
