An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.
You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
Request, offer, keys
Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.
Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
