Renting the 2011 Mazda 3
Renting the 2011 Mazda 3 as a car by the month works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.
What the specs mean
Its 2.0L 4-cylinder drives through a 5-speed manual. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
The EPA rates it at 8.5 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 26 litres. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $13.18 at our price setting.
Who rents the 3
It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.
Space and size
A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. EPA lists 481 litres of luggage space, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.
Our 3 cars
Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
Driver requirements
You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.
Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
Your booking, in three steps
Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.
Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
Questions first?
If something here is unclear, ask in your request; we reply in plain words.
