Renting the 2017 Mazda 3
Car subscription: the 2017 Mazda 3. Here is the car in plain words, and how renting one from CarmaCars works. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
The figures, translated
Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder, driving through a 6-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
At 7.5 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 23 litres of fuel. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $116.30.
Practical details
As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Its 623 litre trunk is enough for bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.
Who it is for
It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
Getting this car from us
A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
How renting with us works
Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.
Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.
Who can rent
Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.
You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
