Car subscription: the 2011 Mazda CX-9

Car subscription and the 2011 Mazda CX-9: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.

What the specs mean

Under the hood: the 3.7L 6-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

The EPA rates it at 12.1 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 36 litres. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $56.28 at our price setting.

Who the CX-9 suits

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

How big it is

As an SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

Can you rent one?

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.

What we check

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

From your dates to the handover

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Let us know

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
