Driver basics

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
