About the 2023 Mazda MX-30

The 2023 Mazda MX-30 is on this page for car subscription: here is what to know before you request one. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.

What the specs mean

The powertrain to know here is the electric motor, with front-wheel drive. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

At 22.8 kWh/100 km, a 300 km day uses roughly 68 kWh. Rated range: 161 km. Winter and highway speeds bring it down. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $3.42, and a 300 km weekend about $10.26.

Who the MX-30 suits

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Practical details

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. The EPA measures its luggage space at 595 litres, roughly bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Renting it

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.

Booking made plain

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

Renting: the basics

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

Still deciding?

Look through the cars, choose one, and send a request when it suits you.
