Car subscription and the 1994 Mazda MX-6
Here is the 1994 Mazda MX-6, for anyone after a car by the month. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
Under the hood
The 2.0L 4-cylinder does the work, through a 5-speed manual. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
Its combined rating is 9.0 L/100 km, which means roughly 27 litres for 300 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $13.95.
Who it is for
It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
Practical details
Being a small car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. The EPA measures its luggage space at 340 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
Can you rent one?
We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
How to book
Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.
Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
Requirements
An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.
Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
