What the figures tell you
It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
At 9.0 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 27 litres of fuel. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $13.95, and a 300 km weekend about $41.85.
Who the MX-6 suits
It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.
How big it is
As a small car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Its 340 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
