The 2011 Mazda RX-8: Car subscription
If you need a car by the month, the 2011 Mazda RX-8 is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
Under the hood
Its 1.3L 2-cylinder drives through a 6-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
At 12.6 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 38 litres of fuel. For 1,000 km, budget about $220.50 at our price setting.
What to expect from the RX-8
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Its 227 litre trunk is enough for about a large suitcase and a couple of soft bags.
When the RX-8 makes sense
It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
Renting: the basics
From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.
Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
Request, offer, keys
A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.
Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.
