The 2003 MINI Cooper: Car subscription
This 2003 MINI Cooper page is written for a car by the month: the car first, then renting it from us. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
What the figures tell you
It uses the 1.6L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
A combined rating of 8.4 L/100 km works out to about 25 litres per 300 km. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $44.10 at our price setting.
The Cooper in everyday use
As a sports car, it puts the driving first and the luggage second. The trunk holds 198 litres by the EPA's count: about a large suitcase and a couple of soft bags.
Who rents the Cooper
It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a summer weekend or a special occasion more than a move.

What happens when you ask for a car
You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.
Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
Before pickup
The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.
Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
