About the 2005 MINI Cooper
Searching for car subscription? Here is the 2005 MINI Cooper: what it is like and how to rent it. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.
Specs, explained
It is powered by the 1.6L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
Plan on about 26 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 8.6 L/100 km. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $45.15 at our price setting.
The Cooper in everyday use
As a sports car, it puts the driving first and the luggage second. With 198 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about a large suitcase and a couple of soft bags.
Who the Cooper suits
It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.
Getting one from us
Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Request, offer, keys
You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.
A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
What we need from you
At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.
Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
Over to you
The next step is yours: send a request whenever you are ready.
