Car subscription with this car
The 2008 MINI Cooper is on this page for car subscription: here is what to know before you request one. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.
Reading the spec sheet
Under the hood: the 1.6L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
Combined fuel use is 7.4 L/100 km: about 22 litres for 300 km. Driving 300 km costs roughly $38.85 at our price setting.
Good uses for the Cooper
It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.
Room inside
As a sports car, it puts the driving first and the luggage second. Its 170 litres of luggage space fit about a large suitcase and a couple of soft bags.
Can you rent one?
Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Booking with CarmaCars
All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.
You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
Who can rent
Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.
Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
Next step
The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
