Renting the 2016 MINI Cooper
If you need a car by the month, read about the 2016 MINI Cooper here, then request it. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
The figures, translated
The 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
At 7.5 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 23 litres of fuel. In money, 1,000 km costs about $131.30 at our price setting.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.
How big it is
A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. The trunk holds 255 litres by the EPA's count: about a large suitcase and a couple of soft bags.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
Requirements
You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.
You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
