Renting for Knobs

Next door to Knobs are Johnson Crossroads, Elmhurst and Union.

What the figures tell you

Its powertrain is the 1.6L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

The EPA rates it at 7.1 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 21 litres. Every 100 km costs about $11.01 in fuel at our price setting.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Practical details

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Luggage space is 708 litres, enough for bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Getting this car from us

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Licence, age and card

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
