Haystack and the Kicks

If you need it in Haystack itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Haystack is about 3,647 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Also close to Haystack: Petaluma, Lakeville and Penngrove.

Reading the spec sheet

It uses the 1.6L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Fuel use is rated 7.1 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 21 litres. Expect about $11.01 per 100 km at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

How big it is

As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. For luggage, 708 litres means bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Renting this car

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

What you need to rent

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

How booking works

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
