A note on Java

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 770 km from Java, and does not deliver there. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Lucks, Ebenezer and Shockoe are the closest places to Java on our list.

What the specs mean

It uses the 1.6L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

At 7.1 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 21 litres of fuel. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $11.01, and a 300 km weekend about $33.03.

Good uses for the Kicks

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

The Kicks in everyday use

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. In plain terms, its 708 litres of luggage space hold bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

How renting with us works

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Who can rent

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Ready when you are
