The 2000 Nissan Maxima: Car subscription
Car subscription and the 2000 Nissan Maxima: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.
Under the hood
The 3.0L 6-cylinder does the work, through a 5-speed manual. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
It is rated 11.2 L/100 km combined: about 34 litres every 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $173.60 at our price setting.
The Maxima in everyday use
Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Luggage space is rated at 425 litres: a family's bags for a long weekend.
Best uses
It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.
Renting this car
Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Before pickup
Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.
Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
What to expect when you book
Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.
Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
