How booking works
First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.
Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
Rules for renters
The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.
Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $0 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
