Java and the 1500

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,639 km from Java, and does not deliver there. If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

The pages for Selby, Lowry and Sitka cover the areas next door.

What the specs mean

It uses the 3.0L 6-cylinder turbo and rear-wheel drive. It runs on diesel, sold at most highway stations. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

Plan on about 27 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 9.0 L/100 km. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $41.85 at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Space and size

As a pickup truck, it has an open bed for things that would never fit in a trunk.

Getting this car from us

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

Booking with CarmaCars

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

What we need from you

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
