Java and the 1500

Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Close by are Selby, Lowry and Sitka, each with its own page.

Engine and fuel

Under the hood: the 5.7L 8-cylinder and rear-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

It is rated 13.6 L/100 km combined: about 41 litres every 300 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $21.08 at our price setting.

Who rents the 1500

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Inside and out

As a pickup truck, it has an open bed for things that would never fit in a trunk.

Rent this car

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Rules for renters

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

From request to keys

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

Ready when you are

Tell us your dates and where you want the car, and we will do the rest.
