A note on Java

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java. Java is about 770 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to.

The pages for Lucks, Ebenezer and Shockoe cover the areas next door.

Specs, explained

The powertrain here is the 3.0L 6-cylinder turbo with rear-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic. It runs on diesel, sold at most highway stations. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

A combined rating of 9.0 L/100 km works out to about 27 litres per 300 km. A 300 km weekend costs about $41.85 in energy at our price setting.

Room inside

Being a pickup truck, it trades parking ease for a cargo bed.

Who the 1500 suits

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Renting this car

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person.

What to have ready

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

Booking made plain

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
