A note on Ascalon

Ascalon is about 1,087 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Ascalon starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Places around Ascalon include Maryland Heights, Saint Ann and Mary Ridge.

What the specs mean

The powertrain to know here is the 6.2L 8-cylinder supercharged, with four-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.

Its combined rating is 19.8 L/100 km, which means roughly 59 litres for 300 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $34.65.

Space, size and seats

As a pickup truck, it has an open bed for things that would never fit in a trunk.

Who it is for

It suits moving day, renovation runs and anything that needs an open bed. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Can you rent one?

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car.

Driver basics

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

How booking works

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Want a price?

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
