Checking your details

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
