Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.
