The 2013 SRT Viper: Car subscription
If a car by the month is the plan, the 2013 SRT Viper is worth a look; here is why. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
Reading the spec sheet
The 8.4L 10-cylinder, paired with a 6-speed manual, drives it. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
Plan on about 49 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 16.2 L/100 km. Every 100 km costs about $28.35 in fuel at our price setting.
Practical details
Low and compact, it is a car for the drive more than the cargo.
Who the Viper suits
It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.
Our Viper cars
There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Delivery starts at $75 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
From request to keys
Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.
The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
Driver basics
We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.
Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
One more step
If something here is unclear, ask in your request; we reply in plain words.
