Car subscription with this car
Car subscription: the 2004 Subaru Forester. Here is the car in plain words, and how renting one from CarmaCars works. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
Reading the spec sheet
It is powered by the 2.5L 4-cylinder, with all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.
It is rated at 11.2 L/100 km combined, so budget about 34 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $173.60.
The Forester in everyday use
Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height. In plain terms, its 878 litres of luggage space hold bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.
Best uses
It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.
In our fleet
This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
How renting with us works
First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.
Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
Who qualifies
Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.
You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
When you know your dates
Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
