Car subscription and the 2012 Subaru Forester
Want to know if the 2012 Subaru Forester suits a car by the month? Read on. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
The figures, translated
The 2.5L 4-cylinder with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.
By the EPA's combined rating of 10.2 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 31 litres. In energy, every 100 km costs about $15.81 at our price setting.
Inside and out
The higher seat of an SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic. Its 963 litres of luggage space fit bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.
Best uses
It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.
Our Forester cars
A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
What to expect when you book
Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.
The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
Driver basics
At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.
Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
