Renting the 2021 Subaru Forester Base

This page joins two things: car subscription, and the 2021 Subaru Forester Base in plain words. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.

Conception and the Forester

We have no location in Conception; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 1,331 km away. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Conception.

The pages for Conception Junction, Monastery and Clyde cover the areas next door.

What the figures tell you

It runs the 2.5L 4-cylinder, with all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

At 8.2 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 25 litres of fuel. That works out to about $12.71 per 100 km at our price setting.

What to expect from the Forester

As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

Good uses for the Forester

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage.

In our fleet

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

Driver requirements

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
