Specs, explained

The engine is the 2.5L 4-cylinder, with all-wheel drive and an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Rated at 8.2 L/100 km combined, it needs around 25 litres for a 300 km round trip. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.71 at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Size and space

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

Getting one from us

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner.

Driver requirements

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

What happens when you ask for a car

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
