Car subscription: the 1989 Subaru Hatchback
Here is the 1989 Subaru Hatchback, for anyone after a car by the month. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.
What the figures tell you
The 1.8L 4-cylinder is what moves it, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
The combined figure, 9.4 L/100 km, means roughly 28 litres for 300 km. Driving 300 km costs roughly $43.71 at our price setting.
What to expect from the Hatchback
As a small car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Its 311 litre trunk is enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
When the Hatchback makes sense
It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.
Our Hatchback cars
This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
How it works
Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. You pay when you approve, and only then.
The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
What we need from you
Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.
Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
