The booking steps

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

What we ask of drivers

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
