The 1990 Subaru XT: Car subscription

Searching for car subscription? Here is the 1990 Subaru XT: what it is like and how to rent it. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.

Specs, explained

Power comes from the 1.8L 4-cylinder, driving through a 5-speed manual. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

It is rated 9.4 L/100 km combined: about 28 litres every 300 km. For 1,000 km, budget about $145.70 at our price setting.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

The XT in everyday use

Being a small car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. With 283 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Getting this car from us

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.

Checking your details

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

Requesting a car

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
