The 2017 Tesla Model 3: Car subscription
If you need a car by the month, read about the 2017 Tesla Model 3 here, then request it. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.
Specs, explained
The electric motor, paired with a 1-speed automatic, drives it. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
At 16.7 kWh/100 km, a 300 km day uses roughly 50 kWh. On paper it goes 499 km between charges, less in winter. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $2.51, and a 300 km weekend about $7.53.
Good uses for the Model 3
It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.
The Model 3 in everyday use
Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. The EPA lists 481 litres for luggage, roughly a family's bags for a long weekend.

Requirements

A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
Booking with CarmaCars
Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.
Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
