The figures, translated

The engine is the electric motor, with all-wheel drive and a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

It uses 18.6 kWh per 100 km, so 300 km takes about 56 kWh of charge. A full charge is rated for 507 km; plan for less in the cold. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $2.79, and a 300 km weekend about $8.37.

Who it is for

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits city driving and anyone with charging at home or work.

Size and space

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. For luggage, 425 litres means a family's bags for a long weekend.

Renting it

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.

How it works

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

What we need from you

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

One more step

Send a request with your dates, and we will come back with an offer.
