Driver basics

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
