Specs, explained

Power comes from the electric motor, driving through a 1-speed automatic. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Rated energy use is 18.6 kWh per 100 km. On paper it goes 507 km between charges, less in winter. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $8.37 at our price setting.

The Model 3 in everyday use

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. The EPA measures its luggage space at 425 litres, roughly a family's bags for a long weekend.

The rules, briefly

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

From your dates to the handover

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
