Reading the spec sheet

Power: the electric motor; drive: all-wheel drive. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Energy use is rated at 18.6 kWh/100 km, about 56 kWh for 300 km. A full charge is rated for 507 km; plan for less in the cold. In energy, every 100 km costs about $2.79 at our price setting.

Who the Model 3 suits

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits city driving and anyone with charging at home or work.

How big it is

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. At 425 litres, the trunk fits a family's bags for a long weekend.

Renting this car

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.

The steps

You request the car online with your dates, and nothing is charged to send it. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

What we need from you

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
