This 2021 Tesla Model 3 Performance page is written for a car by the month: the car first, then renting it from us. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.

Reading the spec sheet

Under the hood: the electric motor and all-wheel drive. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

For every 100 km it uses about 18.6 kWh. A full charge is rated for 507 km; plan for less in the cold. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $2.79.

It suits people who want to try an electric car before buying one. It suits city driving and anyone with charging at home or work.

Space and size

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. In plain terms, its 425 litres of luggage space hold a family's bags for a long weekend.

The rules, briefly

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
