Driver basics

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
