Specs, explained

The electric motor does the work, through a 1-speed automatic. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

For every 100 km it uses about 23.6 kWh. On paper it goes 426 km between charges, less in winter. Driving 300 km costs roughly $10.62 at our price setting.

Room inside

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. The EPA measures its luggage space at 736 litres, roughly bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Who the Model S suits

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Getting one from us

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.

Licence, age and card

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

How booking works

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. You pay when you approve, and only then.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.
