About the 2019 Tesla Model S
Searching for car subscription? Here is the 2019 Tesla Model S: what it is like and how to rent it. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.
What the specs mean
Its electric motor drives through a 1-speed automatic. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.
For every 100 km it uses about 20.3 kWh. On paper it goes 595 km between charges, less in winter. That works out to about $3.05 per 100 km at our price setting.
When the Model S makes sense
Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.
What to expect from the Model S
As a large sedan, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Its 736 litre trunk is enough for bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Rules for renters
Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.
Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
What happens when you ask for a car
Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.
Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.
