About the 2018 Tesla Model X
If you need a car by the month, the 2018 Tesla Model X is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.
Reading the spec sheet
The electric motor, paired with a 1-speed automatic, drives it. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.
At 23.7 kWh/100 km, a 300 km day uses roughly 71 kWh. A full charge is rated for 475 km; plan for less in the cold. Expect about $3.56 per 100 km at our price setting.
Who the Model X suits
It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.
How big it is
The higher seat of a full-size SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.
Renting it
Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
How renting with us works
It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.
You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
The rules, briefly
Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.
Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
Let us know
Tell us your dates and where you want the car, and we will do the rest.
