Renting for Java

The numbers in plain words

Its 2.0L 4-cylinder drives through a 10-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Its combined rating is 6.6 L/100 km, which means roughly 20 litres for 300 km. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $10.23 at our price setting.

Good uses for the Corolla

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

The Corolla in everyday use

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. The EPA lists 510 litres for luggage, roughly a family's bags for a long weekend.

Our Corolla cars

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

What you need to rent

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

Getting the car booked

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
