What the specs mean

Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder, driving through an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

By the EPA's combined rating of 7.0 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 21 litres. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $10.85, and a 300 km weekend about $32.55.

When the Corolla makes sense

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

The Corolla in everyday use

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. EPA lists 368 litres of luggage space, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting the Corolla from CarmaCars

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

The rules, briefly

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

How booking works

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Your move

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
