Car subscription: 2001 Volvo ACL

Car subscription with this car

If a car by the month is the plan, the 2001 Volvo ACL is worth a look; here is why. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.

Engine and fuel

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

When the ACL makes sense

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Space, size and seats

As a car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight.

Renting this car

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.

Request, offer, keys

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Licence, age and card

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

Ready when you are

Tell us your dates and where you want the car, and we will do the rest.
