Every Volvo WCA year
Car subscription: the Volvo WCA
If you need a car by the month, the Volvo WCA is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
The figures, translated
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
What the WCA is like
Being a car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives.
Best uses
It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.
In our fleet
Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
What we ask of drivers
If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
How it works
Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.
Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Can I rent a Volvo WCA in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $0 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
