The 1981 GMC Value Van: Car wash
Your 1981 GMC Value Van and a hand wash: what to send us, what it involves, and a car to drive meanwhile. A hand wash is gentler on the paint than brushes, and it reaches the places a tunnel misses.
About your Value Van
As a car, it is a straightforward size for this work. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. If something on the car is already damaged, show us in the photos.
Booking a time
Your quote is for your car, not a general price list. Nothing is booked until you agree to the price and the time. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate.
A car while yours is in
A rental means the work does not stop your week. Add a rental to the same request as the work. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
A few things first
Empty the trunk and the door pockets so every surface can be reached. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
Timing
Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer. Collect the car when it is ready, or ask us to arrange the handover.
Keeping it that way
A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us.
How the price is set
A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly. If we find something unexpected, we ask before we change the price. The size of the car matters: an SUV or a van has more surface than a compact car.
