Specs, explained

Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, driving through a 7-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

The combined figure, 7.8 L/100 km, means roughly 23 litres for 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $136.50 at our price setting.

How big it is

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. The trunk holds 368 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who rents the A4

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Renting this car

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Licence, age and card

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Request, offer, keys

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
