The A4 and Knobs

We have no location in Knobs; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 692 km away. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Knobs starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

If you are close to Knobs, you may also be near Johnson Crossroads, Elmhurst and Union.

The numbers in plain words

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

The EPA rates it at 7.9 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 24 litres. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $13.83 at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. With a length of 4.76 m, it counts as on the long side. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Its 368 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

In our fleet

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

What to have ready

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
